Gang Identification and Intervention Strategies

The Gang Identification and Intervention Strategies was the first in the Ridge School’s Lecture Series. For this lecture, the Ridge School worked with Montgomery County’s Violence Prevention Coordinator, the Peaceoholics and Montgomery County Police, Community Outreach Division. Glynn produced, directed, edited and digitized the video. We streamed the video using Flash through the Web so that a Web user does not have to wait to download a large file before seeing the video or hearing the sound. Instead, the media is sent in a continuous stream and is played as it arrives.

Operation Runaway Video

Operation Runaway is a community-based, family-focused, and crisis-oriented program to assist at-risk runaway youth and their families. It provides free, therapeutic support services, education and advocacy in an effort to prevent and reduce runaway behavior. Glynn interviewed former runaways, and videotaped community leaders to deliver this important message. We streamed the video using Flash through the Web so that a Web user does not have to wait to download a large file before seeing the video or hearing the sound. Blood Borne Pathogens Video

Glynn Interactive produced this Documentary over a ten-month period for release nationwide through OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Our Producer conducted video shoots with police (ride alongs), Fire Officials, supervisors of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS), conducted video shoots inside the operating rooms at GW University Hospital, and routine medical visits. Interviews included top Surgeons, Chief of Staff at GW University Hospital, Medical Researchers, police officers, EMS specialists and others. The program was edited in a full digital suite, mastered and duplicated for distribution Nationwide.

Colin Powell Video

Glynn Interactive produced and directed a series of Nationwide Television commercials on the topic of employers welcoming back the individuals who participated in Desert Storm. Our film crew of 15 people used HMI lighting techniques, 16mm Film, dolly and tracks, backup camera's and audio equipment and a teleprompter to ensure the best use of General Colin Powell's schedule. Ms. Glynn directed the General through two takes and two separate radio spots. The film was processed and transferred to a digital format. Audio sweetening and color correction was the final step prior to packaging and distributing the commericals to television and radio stations nationwide.

The River Streaming Video

“The River” is the first prototype Glynn Interactive developed as a teaming partner for ORACLE Corporation. "The River" offers video streaming technology over an ORACLE 8 server. Working with Bank Street College of Education, the Subject Matter Experts, Glynn Interactive produced an interactive Web based training program for distribution over the Internet on wide bandwidth connectivity. This application offers educators approaches to teaching in the classroom through the use of example. Teachers discuss their approaches, apprehensions, and success stories regarding preparing students for a trip to a river in their area as well as offering teaching approaches sample exercises and student sample writings, artwork, and models.
