AmericasTeens.gov
The General Services Administration (GSA) hired Glynn Technologies to redesign their AmericasTeens.gov web site to make it a little more teen-oriented while also making it easier to update.
Glynn Technologies created a dynamic site that allows GSA to update it without necessarily knowing html. A newer design was also implemented, incorporating less animation, to give it a more sophisticated appearance.

EAC Web Site
A new Federal Agency was established to assure the American citizens that the voting system is being monitored by the Federal government. Glynn Technologies was selected for their award-winning work on the General Services Administration afterschool.gov and childcare.gov websites. With only 15 days until the public hearing, the Glynn Technologies team designed, wrote, programmed, and deployed an 80 page website known as eac.gov. This informational website serves the general public, media, and legal counsel in direct response to the Help America Vote Act, the legislation which led to the founding of this new agency.

MBAA Web Site
Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA) hired Glynn Interactive to promote a new company (RIHA), the Research Institute for Housing of America. Glynn Interactive first provided the graphic interface for the RIHA website utilizing both gif animations and java. MBA wanted its site to appear technically advanced, so Glynn Interactive chose to use all of the high-end scripting for the website. Glynn Interactive also edited, created and compressed all of the Real Video for the website.

Arlington, Virginia Site
Arlingtonvirginia.com is the Virtual On-line Community of Arlington, Virginia. Explore the Business community, visit Neighborhoods, Shops, Businesses, Schools, through their very own websites. It is an innovative way to learn about a place where you wish to live, go to school or look for a new job. Maps show you the way to a location, towns are owned by businesses which link you directly to their website for even more information. This site is owned and developed soley by Glynn Interactive to bring the Arlington community together. Links are available for only $25 and you can own a town or banner for no more than $600 annually.

MSCSC
Glynn Technologies has designed, and now hosts and maintains the website for the Montgomery Square Copenhaver Swim Club and the Seahawks Swim Team. The MSCS website keeps both the pool membership and the swim team participants informed of current activities by posting a wide variety of web pages such as Rules and Regulations, Letters from the President, Announcements, Online Membership Application and Dues forms, Online Party Reservation forms, and a repository of PDF forms. Separate calendars are posted for the membership and the swim team. Photo galleries have been created for the past three summers and display both the family events and the Seahawks swim meets.

Glynn Technologies conducted Usability Sessions to include: Focus Groups, One-on-one Interviews, and Lab Testing from 9 constituent user groups within the Healthcare Arena. The Finding and Recommendations Document was created and utilized during the next task, Redesign and Development. Redesign Requirement: Conform to HHS' new design guidelines and standard, create a fluid design for web, develop the e-newsletter, print capability; develop and implement templates with the required banners with unique identifiers for the inter-agency web page. Section 508 was implemented along with P3P standards.

PandemicFlu.gov
The development of the Pandemic Flu web site was given a high-priority by the Secretary of Health and Human Services and needed to be available to the general public via the Internet within 10 days of initial kick-off meeting. A new Logo and tagline needed to be branded. Glynn Technologies worked with HHS' usability team to develop a website that is designed so users can easily find content and search for information quickly. Following the HHS' web guidelines and gathering content from inter-agencies, the web site was designed, programmed, and deployed within the 10 days as required and provides a gamut of links to qualified government resources. Glynn Technologies continues to update the web site on a daily basis.

United Bank-WV hired Glynn Technologies to redesign their web site to have a more updated look that was simple and easy to use. The Glynn development team provided the company with an impressive design geared for all users. DSIC
DSIC contracted Glynn Technologies to develop the Corporate branding for their web presence and the Intranet Portal for their employees. The web site housed all data relevant to its employees, customers, vendors, and prospects. Usability, functionality, and design played an important role in the successful development of these 2 applications. Glynn Technologies worked closely with the DSIC marketing director and staff to implement both the web site and Intranet.

OJP
Glynn Technologies was awarded a multi-year contract to provide web operations & maintenance for the OJP web site to include servicing the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The first task was to conduct Usability Studies for the main web site and its Bureaus and Offices, and Support Offices. Over a six month period, focus groups were conducted at conferences and with constituent user groups around the Washington Metropolitan area. Graphical User Interface Designs were tested at these focus group sessions, and a final design was developed and implemented into the web content management system. Glynn Technologies developed the OJP Web Standards Guidelines, implemented Section 508 standards, and all documentation to include Manuals and Train-the-Trainer Guides.

Kids and Trauma
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) hired Glynn Technologies to create a website for their Kids and Trauma department. The DHHS researches and treats children in an effort to find the best way to treat the special needs of children with mental traumas.
Glynn Technologies is in phase I of designing and implementing this website. They are creating a page that simply and clearly conveys the 14 different types of traumas kids can suffer and what can be done to help them. The site also includes the names of local service providers who can provide outside help.

Y2K Website
Interactive was hired to create the leading government site for the Year 2000 Initiative, www.y2k.gov. The site acts as a key resource for providing information for general computer users, computer programmers and government agencies on the Year 2000 problems.
This site was designed and continually updated by Glynn Interactive. Glynn Interactive worked closely with the President's Council to come up with a suitable interface design for the client. Glynn Interactive then provided all of the graphics for the website, including new icons, illustrations and an enhanced logo.
www.y2k.gov was awarded the Los Angeles Times pick of the week. The LA Times recognized the site for its graphic interface, its ease of use, and for its vital content for the computer community.

Human Trafficking Website
Glynn Technologies, working with the Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs (OJP) designed and programmed the website to provide information on a National conference.
The United States Department of Justice held the national training conference to advance its mission to eliminate human trafficking within the United States and rescue its victims. Human trafficking refers to the coercion of adults and youth into commercial sexual activity, sexual exploitation, sweatshops, domestic servitude, and other criminal activity. Navigational elements were included offering a user-friendly approach and on-line registration via User ID and Password was incorporated into the website design.

Amber Alert
Glynn Technologies, working with the Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs (OJP) designed and programmed the website to provide information on the newly instituted AMBER Alert program to help communities better work together to find and save missing and exploited children. AMBER stands for America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response and was created as a legacy to 9-year-old Amber Hagerman, who was kidnapped while riding her bicycle in Arlington, Texas, and then brutally murdered. Other states and communities soon set up their own AMBER plans as the idea was adopted across the nation. The website provides resources for people looking to implement and coordinate the program in their local communities

MLN Guided Pathways
The MLN Guided Pathways is presented to the learner in ways which are visual and dynamic while at the same time providing useful information, education, and resources about the Medicare Program and the overall structure of the CMS website.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has provided a dynamic tool for its Medicare fee-for-service health care professionals. The MLN Guided Pathways product is a dynamic, graphic-based web application which allows fee-for-service professionals to view many of the resources, links, and educational materials on the Medicare Learning Network's web pages. Designed to give the look and feel of a "road trip", the Guided Pathways viewer, travels from topic to topic, and resource to resource as if traveling by car from city to city, and building to building.

Country Living DVD
Country Living Gardner magazine brings over 2000 featured plants and flowers into the Interactive CD-ROM environment. Glynn Interactive, under contract to Enteractive, produced "Great Home Gardens" which features seven databases including a "scrapbook", "Zone Map", "Shopping Cart", and "Garden Centers". Under a license agreement with Netscape, users can jump out to the Internet to surf the Hearst website to gain more information. Video clips of the New York Botanical Gardens provide detailed gardening tips and visit ten famous gardens around the United States. Purchase this CD-ROM at local computer stores.

The River
The River is the first prototype Glynn Interactive developed as a teaming partner for ORACLE Corporation. "The River" offers video streaming technology over an ORACLE 8 server. Working with Bank Street College of Education, the Subject Matter Experts, Glynn Interactive produced an interactive Web based training program for distribution over the Internet on wide bandwidth connectivity. This application offers educators approaches to teaching in the classroom through the use of example. Teachers discuss their approaches, apprehensions, and success stories regarding preparing students for a trip to a river in their area as well as offering teaching approaches sample exercises and student sample writings, artwork, and models.

Partners Resource Group CDROM
Partners Accounting firm approached Glynn to design an interactive multimedia presentation as a motivational piece at their annual sales conference. The unique custom interface design uses a combination of photographs of the staff along with creative images representing geographic locations. Video clips were incorporated into segments within the presentation to reinforce messages reflecting the corporate image. The blending of the professional and social worlds was achieved by using Macromedia™ Director, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. All audio and video segments were digitized using Quicktime™ Movie player.

CMS Usability Testing
Glynn Technologies conducted a series of focus group and usability sessions aimed at determining how Medicare providers use the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) website (www.cms.hhs.gov) and online resources. The 100 study participants included the billing and administrative departments of hospitals, physicians, durable medical equipment providers (DME), and home health agencies. In the sessions, Glynn led participants in a discussion of their daily workflow, information needs, Web usage, use of resources outside of CMS, and impressions of current CMS site. The feedback from the groups enabled Glynn and CMS to pinpoint navigational hurdles that were preventing users from finding needed information on the CMS website.

Ambulance Providers
Under contract to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Glynn Technologies coordinated, scheduled and conducted a Focus Group of Ambulance Providers from within the United States to gather requirements for the CMS web site. Nine participants met at Glynn Technologies facilities for the usability session. The Findings and Recommendations for the Ambulance Provider portion of the cms.hhs.gov web site was delivered based on this session.

Afterschool.gov
The General Services Administration (GSA) hired Glynn Technologies to create an online newsletter for their Executive Oversight Committee. The newsletter would periodically update the committee on happenings and changes within the website. Glynn created a dynamic newsletter that can be easily updated at a moments notice without the use of html. In addition, recipients of the newsletter can be added or deleted in only a few moments.
GSA has been a longtime client of Glynn Technologies. They have worked together to build AmericasTeens.gov and Childcare.gov.

Kids and Trauma
The Kids and Trauma website has been created to provide information to parents, schools, and practitioners on children and youth and on the stresses and traumas that children face in our society. With links to frequently asked questions, expert opinions, personal stories, articles, and additional resources, the Kids and Trauma website can be a useful source of information and advice. Vidcasts of rehabilitation programs and programs for runaway youth show how leadership and community based outreach can make all the difference to youth in crisis.
