Afterschool.gov Newsletter

The General Services Administration (GSA) hired Glynn Technologies to create an online newsletter for their Executive Oversight Committee. The newsletter would periodically update the committee on happenings and changes within the website. Glynn created a dynamic newsletter that can be easily updated at a moments notice without the use of html. In addition, recipients of the newsletter can be added or deleted in only a few moments. GSA has been a longtime client of Glynn Technologies. They have worked together to build AmericasTeens.gov and Childcare.gov.

Childcare.gov

Glynn Technologies began development of the childcare.gov website in 2000 under a task force consisting of 12 Federal Agencies. This website required Glynn to custom build an interactive dynamic web application which allowed the General Services Administration the ability to add, edit, and delete content. Glynn Technologies conducted focus groups with target end users of the childcare.gov website. The design was developed in conjunction with the most popular design selected from the sessions. As the contract progressed into option years, Glynn maintained the site on a weekly basis for the duration of the 4.5 year contract.

Y2K Database

Glynn Interactive, Inc. was hired by the General Services Administration (GSA) to create a database which would organize Federal and State Information on Year 2000 Compliancy issues. Within the database, each federal or state user can log into the network and report on the status of their Year 2000 upgrades. The database then records and creates a report on the progress of the Year 2000 upgrades. The upgrades are recorded on the state and federal levels for all of the departments and bureaus. It was imperative that the database be user friendly for both the administrative end and for the end user. Glynn Interactive was able to create this user-friendly interface and to provide GSA with a product that they have found highly useful.

DynaWeb Products

Glynn Technologies has a full Content Management Software Tools Package designed to assist non-web savvy individuals on the design and development of dynamic websites. These tools range from a website development tool that allows customers to templatize and control data entry via an Approval Manager component and a "Super Administrator" feature to control user access by page, section, or multiple sections. State Connect Enterprise Software

State Connnect is the resource center for the general public, State, and the Medicaid State Agencies personell to identify, educate, connect and interact with Federal and State resources in regards to public assistance and services. It would provide Informational kiosks for the general public as well as a data management system for State, Local and Federal governments. State Connect would connect states to current databases, giving government personel the ability to retrieve information about citizens and determine applicability of each applicant for services requested/anticipated.
