HHS Portal
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is in the process of launching a portal to be used by its employees and those who work under the HHS structure, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Federal Health Architecture (FHA) employees. The HHS Portal will centralize access to many different systems in order to promote collaboration around areas of common concern. These collaboration tools include community and group projects, calendars, discussions, and task lists. It is foreseen that up to 85,000 HHS employees will be given access to the HHS Portal.

Childcare.gov
Glynn Technologies began development of the childcare.gov website in 2000 under a task force consisting of 12 Federal Agencies. Y2K Database
Glynn Interactive, Inc. was hired by the General Services Administration (GSA) to create a database which would organize Federal and State Information on Year 2000 Compliancy issues. Within the database, each federal or state user can log into the network and report on the status of their Year 2000 upgrades. The database then records and creates a report on the progress of the Year 2000 upgrades. The upgrades are recorded on the state and federal levels for all of the departments and bureaus. It was imperative that the database be user friendly for both the administrative end and for the end user. Glynn Interactive was able to create this user-friendly interface and to provide GSA with a product that they have found highly useful.

HHS Portal
Designing systems to meet short-term expectations, while ensuring that they provide best-value and flexibility over a project's out-years is the core principle behind Glynn's architecture services. To deliver on this principle, we look at systems holistically - and sequentially - to understand organizational goals without losing sight of the discrete victories that allow us to set and meet milestones.
The outcome of every system implementation is measured on stability under the stress of real-time use. Glynn’s teams consist of architects and senior program managers who look to customer expectations and our philosophy of being on the job when the system is complete to ensure that we delivery what was promised.

FHA
Glynn Technologies was contracted by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide Web Maintenance and Operations Support. Glynn is responsible for the continued administration, support and maintenance of the HHS portal. As the HHS portal projects were historically managed by different HHS contractors and governed by several organizations, there was a necessary transition period in which Glynn defined the roles and tasks required to best promote and operate the HHS Portal. A comprehensive plan was devised by Glynn to outline an efficient and effective management structure that streamlined the portal development processes.
