Standards Compliant Multimedia Courseware
"With the addition of full SCORM 2004 compliant output, Course Maker Studio 3.8 developers can take full advantage of the tracking capabilities found in SCORM compliant Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Learn.com's award-winning LearnCenter Learning and Performance Management Suite. This feature also enables authors to take advantage of SCO Publishing introduced in CourseMaker Studio 3.6 in December 2005. The SCO Publishing feature enables an author to publish a course as a series of individual SCOs. Each topic in the course will appear to an LMS as an individual SCO and can be managed individually by the Learning Management System," said David Swenson of Learn.com.
"CourseMaker Studio 3.8 also includes full support for publishing Section 508 compliant courses. This option publishes 508 compliant HTML courses that can be read by screen reader software for visually impaired users. These HTML courses replicate the structure of the full multimedia course, including assessment and scoring," added Swenson.
Course Maker Studio is a rapid e-learning development and delivery tool that uniquely enables the creation of full screen, fully synchronized interactive multimedia with streaming delivery of graphics, animation, text, and audio. Finished courses can be delivered over the Internet and Intranet using minimal bandwidth or via CD-ROM.
