Graphic Design Careers
Graphic designers at Glynn develop layouts for a variety of Web-based and multimedia applications; create documents that detail the functionality and design elements included in each step of an application; and provide oral and written reports for supervisors on project status.
The designers have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, graphic design, or a related discipline; five years work experience in a professional development environment, with the development of Web-based software applications and multimedia projects; strong graphic design and page layout skills; and expertise in current Internet standards, including Web browsers, browser specifications, and Section 508 compliance standards.
The designers have extensive experience with several desktop publishing and imaging applications. They are able to produce projects in Flash, Dreamweaver, and HTML, and have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to external business partners.
