Portal Administration (Front End)
- Demonstration/Selling
- Field questions/inquiries regarding the Portal and Portal functionality
- Set up appointments and send out invites with GoToMeeting webinar information
- Conduct online (sometimes face to face) demonstrations giving overview of Portal and features
- Send follow-up email with Portal Community Request form and instructions to complete
- Training/Troubleshooting
- Conduct user administration training
- Troubleshoot login and other related account issues
- Conduct review sessions as needed
- Administration
- Create portlets, groups, projects and other portal objects as needed
- Administer custom security requirements as needed
- Create user accounts as needed
- Organize Project Explorer and Publisher areas
- Requirements Gathering
- Gather requirements
- Document requirements
- Submit requirements for review and approval
- Deliver requirements to appropriate personnel and shepherd to completion
- Report to customer on progress
Technical Skills
- Web development - language/Scripting: HTML (DTHML, XHTML), CSS, JavaScript,
ColdFusion, PHP, XML, Data Base (Oracle, SQL)
- Administrating security/privileges on a web base application
- Portal experience preferred but not required
Bachelor degree required.
